Funeral services for Glenn Dean Schroeder, 64, Custer City will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Custer City Christian Church. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Lone Star Cemetery near Highway 412 in Cheyenne Valley.
Glenn Dean Schroeder, age 64 years, passed away at Deaconess Hospital on December 7, 2017. He was born December 12, 1952 in Enid, Oklahoma to Willis D. and Ella Jean (Williams) Schroeder of Fairview, Oklahoma. He graduated from Waynoka High School with the Class of 1971. He then joined the United States Navy where he served two years on the U.S.S. Buchanan and two years reserve.
He had a full life where he had a deep love for his family farm in Cheyenne Valley. He lived in California, Alaska, Kansas, and Oklahoma where he finally settled down in Custer City. He will always be remembered as a hard worker and a loving father and husband.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willis and Ella Jean Schroeder.
Those surviving him include his wife JoAnn of the home, five children: daughter Rebecca Woerner of Fairview, OK, son, Aaron (Kati) Schroeder of Garber, OK, ; Ben (Desiree) Hulse of Custer City, OK, John (Kristin) Hulse of Longdale, OK and Sabrina (John) Oldham of Custer City, OK., fifteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild and another on the way.
