Okeene – Funeral services will be at 2 PM, today, in the First Christian Church here for Mrs. Lou Ella Reames, 84, Isabella, who died Monday, September 7, 1964, in the home of her daughter in Shawnee.
Rev. Marvin Gilley and Rev. Rod W. Smith will officiate and burial will be in the Isabella Cemetery under direction of the Keller – Landes Funeral Home.
Aunt Lou, as she was known to her friends, was a native of Kansas. She moved to Oklahoma in 1895 and had spent the last 65 years in the Isabella community. She was active in all the community affairs in Isabella.
Survivors include four sons, Merriel, Clovis, New Mexico; Everett, Tulsa; Roger, Homestead; Willard, Isabella; two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Wright, Shawnee; Mrs. Mabel Crawford, Isabella; one brother, Fred Barnum, Goodwell; one sister – in – law, Mrs. Lilly Chambers, Enid; 18 grandchildren and 30 great – grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith Reames, Gerald Reames, Richard Reames, Robert Wright, and Dennis Crawford.
