Funeral for Vernon Hall , 66, will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will follow in Isabella Cemetery.
Vernon was born June 17, 1948, in Enid, to Joseph "Joe" and Goldie Ann (Osburn) Hall and passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in Enid.
Vernon attended schools in Carrier and Enid. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army from 1968-1969. He worked as a truck driver until his retirement.
Vernon was married twice in his life and had one son, Kevin; four stepdaughters; and one stepson.
He is survived by son Kevin of Arizona; five sisters, Linda Carter of Oklahoma City, Martha Dahlman of Oregon and JoAnn Metz, Rose Benge and Vera Hall , all of Enid; five brothers, Raymond, John, George, and Timothy Sr., all of Enid, and Marvin of Oklahoma City; stepchildren, Kim Kay of Drummond and Kristie Kay of New Mexico; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Steven and Michael; nephew Ricky Benge, Jr; and a great-nephew, Nathan Hall .
