Isabella Cemetery


Funeral services for former Seminole resident, Walter Edward Barrowman, Jr., are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home, Enid, with Bro. Bob Rogers officiating.

Burial is to follow at Isabella Cemetery, Isabella.

Barrowman, 66 of the Enid area, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 as a result of an accident. He was born in Eldorado, Ark., on Aug. 31, 1941 to Walter Edward and Ruth Barrowman.

He worked and lived in Seminole for many years and attended Little Mission Church. Barrowman also worked for Big Yank and Wal-Mart.

Surviving is his wife, Shirley Barrowman of Enid; five daughters: Sara Nuckols of Wewoka, Kay Wakefield of Holdenville, Kim Maynard of Spalding, LaDonna Vanlandingham of Seminole, and LaDena Barrowman of Texas; one son, Mike Barrowman; two stepdaughters: Claudette Leonard of Pennsylvania, and Dona Robertson of Enid; and one stepson, George Call of Pennsylvania.

In addition, his four sisters: Mary Russell of Midwest City, JoAnn McGhee of Oklahoma City, Linda Barrowman of Okarche, and Paula McCoy of Beggs; two brothers: Jerry and Larry Barrowman of the Oklahoma City area; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
