The funeral services celebrating the life of Evelyn Webber, 88, of Ringwood, will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday August 3, 2017 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jody Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, south of Ringwood. The family will receive friends Wednesday August 2, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born May 3, 1929 in Ames, Oklahoma to Joseph and Elma Schwind, and passed from this life July 30, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma.
She was raised and educated in the Ames, Oklahoma area. She was a naturally gifted musician and guitar player and had a passion for painting, especially china. On February 8, 1947, she married Harlan Webber in Wellington, Kansas. She raised her family and worked with her husband at the family owned Webber Water Well Service which their son Harold still operates.
She is survived by son; Harold Webber of Ringwood, daughter; Trilla Patton of Ringwood, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, both parents, son; Leonard Webber, and two siblings.
Memorial may be made to the Ringwood Fire Department and the Glenwood Cemetery with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
