Trilla B. Spellman died at the Tulsa Nursing Center following a stroke and a two-year residence there. She was born to Ruby and Albert Schwind.
She was retired from Tulsa Public Schools where she was the librarian at Monroe Middle School for many years.
Trilla was preceded in death by her husband Zachary Nelson Spellman; by her parents, Albert and Ruby Schwind of Ringwood, Oklahoma; and by her sister and brother-in-law, Dorthy (Schwind) and Daniel Whitesell of Ringwood, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her son, David N. Spellman of Tulsa; her grandson, David Lance Spellman and his wife Marla and their children, Lauren and Derek, all of Dallas, Texas; her grandson, Jeffrey Todd Spellman of Tulsa, and her grandson, Dustin Daniel Spellman and his wife, Julie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A memorial service was held at the Reynolds Funeral Service Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2006. Another memorial service was held that afternoon at 4:00 p.m. at the Ringwood Methodist Church. Services entrusted to AdamsCrest Cremation Center, Tulsa.
