Celebration of Life Service for Larry Allen Robinson, 70, of Enid, will be Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Graceway Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig Bruyn officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Cemetery south of Ringwood.
Larry was born Nov. 14, 1949, in Clovis, N.M., to Floyd Allen and Avana Ethel Mantz Robinson and passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, in Enid, Okla. Born into a military family, they moved many times before finally settling in Avondale, Ariz., where Larry graduated from The Agua Fria Memorial High School in 1967.
He was an avid reader, including the Holy Bible, enjoyed board games and spending time with family, friends and church, and had a compassionate heart for young people and those in need.
Larry was preceded in death by his father in 1977.
He is survived by his wife Gloria; mother, Avana Decker and husband Roscoe; two children, Jason Robinson and wife Nancy; Brooke Ellis and husband Mark; seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Dominic, Marcus, Jacob, Noah, Troy, and Ashlyn; six siblings, Robby, Jerry, Kenneth, Carol, Wren and Timothy; other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help defray expenses may be made through the funeral home to Graceway Baptist Church.
