Enid, OK — Funeral for Marcos Ramirez, 33, will be 3 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Ringwood United Methodist Church. The Rev. Terrill Parvin will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, south of Ringwood. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008 at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 7, 1974 in Canoas, Santa Maria Del Rio, S.L.P. Mexico to Herculano Ramirez and Adelfina Martinez Ribera and died Friday, July 18, 2008.
He came to North Carolina from Mexico in 1997. He had lived in Ringwood since 2001 where he worked for Permian Well Service.
He married Marian Oct. 5, 2005.
Surviving are his wife, Marian, of Ringwood; his mother, Adelfina Martinez Ribera of Mexico; two brothers, Clemente Ramirez and Esikiel Ramirez, both of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Valentina Aguilar of Ringwood, Estela Ramirez, Juana Ramirez and Maria Lasara, all of Mexico; stepchildren, Brandy Balderas of Ringwood, Willie L. Tartsah of Anadarko and Elisabeth Wetselline of Oklahoma City; and five stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and his father.
