Avana Ethel Mantz Decker

March 16, 1933 ~ April 5, 2026

Funeral services for Avana E. Decker, age 93, of Enid, will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church with Reverend Don Hosier officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Ringwood, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Avana was born March 16, 1933 in Boise City, Oklahoma to William and Minnie (Chaffin) Mantz, and passed away on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026 in Enid. One of seven children, she had seven children herself.

Avana loved God, family, and life evidenced by her contagious smile, positive attitude, infectious humor, and hard work. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and doting grandmother having dedicated her life to sharing the love of God exemplifying the greatest commandment to love God and others (Luke 10:27).

Avana is survived by her sister Iola Gonzalez of Enid, OK; daughter-in-law Gloria Robinson of Enid, OK; son Robby and wife Darla of Andrews, TX; son Jerry and wife Andrea of Henderson, NV; son Kenneth and wife Peggy of Des Moines, IA; daughter Carol of Mounds, OK; son Wren and wife Jill of Anthony, KS; son Timothy of Stillwater, OK; 28 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Avana is preceded in death by her brothers Oris, Leon, and David Headlee and Eugene Mantz; sister Hazel Dalton of Enid, OK; husband Floyd Allen Robinson (1977), husband Roscoe Decker (2024), son Larry Allen Robinson, son-in-law Jay Watkins, daughter-in-law Tammy Robinson, and grandson Timothy Wren Robinson and great grandson Charlie Blessington.

Memorial contributions in Avana's name may be made to the Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church Benevolent Ministry with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
