March 3, 2006 Enid News and Eagle A private family memorial service for Earl Dean Cross, 65, of Okeene, will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Ander-son-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

He was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Ringwood to Theron R. and Ethel C. Hutchins Cross and died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, in Okeene.

He grew up in Ringwood and attended school there. He served in the Army.

He married Gloria Long Oct. 26, 1977, in Cottonwood Falls, Kan., where they made their home. They moved to Okeene in 1994. He worked as a truck driver for Soo Trucking until is retirement in 2004.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria, of the home; one son, Calvin Dean Cross of Okeene; three daughters, Amy Sessions of Longdale, Michelle Meadows of Topeka, Kan., and Terry Spencer of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Don Cross; and one sister, Carol Sue Snow.

He was preceded in death by one son.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home.
