A funeral for Terry Mack Lewis, M.D., age 63, of Ringwood, will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2006, at the Indian Creek Village Chapel. Rev. Connie Schlarb of Cleo Springs will officiate. Burial will be in Free Home Cemetery, Ring-wood, with military honors by the Ames American Legion. Arrange-ments are by Ander-son-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. There will be a wake at 3 p.m. today at Cleo Tavern in Cleo Springs. Stories about Terry and his life will be shared beginning at 5 p.m.

Terry was born to Jack and Lois (Snoddy) Lewis on June 1, 1943, in Enid and died Monday, July 3, 2006, in Enid.

He graduated from Lamont High School and then attended Northwestern University in Alva and the University of Oklahoma Medical School. Terry was then commissioned into the U.S. Navy and served at Lt. Commander Squadron Physician in Vietnam. After serving in the Navy, he went back to OU Medical School and earned his degree in urology. He made his home in Enid and joined Jerry Blankenship, M.D. and Bob Hoffman, M.D. at Enid Urology Associates in the late 1970s. He practiced there until his retirement in 2004, when he joined the Fairview Clinic.

On Nov. 25, 1995, he married Jelinda “Jenny” Kay Bucholz-Williams outside of Ringwood. Together they began Indian Creek Village. He served on the board of the Oklahoma Grape Growers Association and Oklahoma Agritourism Steering Commit-tee. He was one of the founders of Oklahoma Wildlife and Prairie Heritage Alliance and served on the board of Northwest Oklahoma Rural Development.

Terry loved fly fishing, photography, country dancing, gardening, storm chasing, astronomy, camping, archery, water skiing, scuba diving, sailing and restoring old cars. He was a grape grower, winemaker, birdwatcher, pilot, race car driver, carpenter, storyteller, history buff, writer and avid reader.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny of the home; his mother, Lois Lewis of Lamont; two daughters, Jennifer Mahoney and husband John of Ringwood, and Stacy Revels and husband Mark of Moore; three sons, Mark Lewis of Moore, Scott Williams of Norman, and Chris Williams of Enid; four grandchildren, Alex and Megan Williams and Jack and Wyatt Mahoney; one brother, Tony Lewis of Norman; and two sisters, Micki Metcalf and husband Richard, and Vicki Mendenhall and husband Ron, all of Lamont.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Jack Lewis.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Grape Growers Association to start a scholarship fund in his name. In lieu of flowers, Terry requested landscaping plants for Indian Creek Village.
