Ruby Dewey (Rader) McNutt
May 12, 1934 - October 27, 2022
Graveside service for Ruby McNutt, 88, will be Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Forrest Cemetery, west of Ringwood, Oklahoma. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Ruby was born on May 12, 1934, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Forest Alcorn and Effie Ruth (Wallace) Rader and passed away peacefully on October 27, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.
She grew up west of Garber and graduated from Enid High School. Ruby then went to Enid Business College. She was a bookkeeper and proofer for many years at Central National Bank. Ruby later worked at Bank Lumber Company and Cox and Overstreet Construction Company.
Jack married Ruby Dewey on November 29, 1990, in Las Vegas. She attended Cowboy Church. Ruby enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family. Upon their retirement, Jack and Ruby became 'Winter Texans' in Donna, Texas, for 22 years, making many memories.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Jack McNutt; bonus son, David Dewey; parents; sister, Nikki Newkirk; brother, Wallace Rader; stepson, David Dewey.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Dewey and Roger Dewey; bonus son and his wife, Shelby and Dana McNutt; sister, Bonnie Booth; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
