Funeral services were held Wednesday in the First Methodist Church in Fairview for Elmer A. Young, 62, who died Sunday in an Okeene hospital. He was ill five months.

Young formerly resided in the Oakdale community southwest of Aline. His father was a Methodist minister here many years ago.

Survivors are his wife of the home, three daughters and three sons. One sister, Mrs. Sarah Carter of Alva. He was an uncle of Miss Ida Somers of Aline.
