September 19, 1940 - January 19, 2018

Funeral services for Rolland Alfred Williamson, 77, of Ringwood, Oklahoma will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the First Assembly of God Church, Fairview, Oklahoma. The Reverend Charlie Newman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Family will receive friends Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6-8 p.m.

Rolland Alfred Williamson was born in Shell Knob, Missouri on September 9, 1940 to Howard Orville and Geneva Belle (Haddock) Williamson. Rolland worked for his brother for fifteen years in his trash hauling business. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and spending time with his friends and family. Rolland loved his cattle and farming and ranching. Lovingly known as Papa to his grandchildren and neighbors, Rolland’s greatest joy was puttering around with the grandkids in tow. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Naomi of the home, son Denzil Carter of Nash, Oklahoma, daughter, Paulina and her husband Jeff Ledford of Ringwood, Oklahoma, two brothers: Lowell and his wife LaVerna Williamson of Hollister, Missouri and Carroll and his wife Tammie Williamson of Purdy, Missouri, seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Rolland was preceded in death by his parents, H.O. and Geneva Williamson one daughter in law, Nora Carter.
