July 18, 1934 - January 18, 2021

"Out of love and safety for the health of family and friends, the Bonnie Colby Williams family will save our visitation for a later date." A private family graveside service for Bonnie Williams will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans funeral home. Family has requested everyone wear a mask and socially distance.

Bonnie Williams was born July 18, 1934, in Major County, Oklahoma, to Arthur Kliewer and Josephine Parker Kliewer and passed away Monday January 18, 2021. She grew up in Fairview, Oklahoma, and graduated from Fairview High School. In 1953 she married Vinton Colby and they had two sons, Bradley and Douglas. Vinton passed away in September 1963. Bonnie received her LPN license and worked nights at the Fairview Hospital. After her sons graduated from high school she moved to Enid and worked several more years at Bass Memorial Hospital. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and nurse.

She loved to sew and cook and everyone will always remember those satin pillow cases and her delicious apple pies.

Bonnie and KV Williams were married in 1995 and she loved her new blended family. They attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Enid. Bonnie retired and they celebrated their love by taking many vacations. Her favorite was their trip to Israel.

Bonnie is survived by her grandchildren: Karnesa McGaha (Kurt), Chad Colby; and granddaughter-in-law Amanda. Also surviving are step-children: Dr. Chris Williams (Diane Napoli), Dr. Scott Williams (Patricia), and Kyle Williams (Carol); sisters, Melva Brown, Arthetta Kimmell (Tom), Janet Jackson (Jim); brothers, Melvin J. Kliewer, Larry Kliewer, Glenn Kliewer (Frieda), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, sons Bradley Colby and Douglas Colby, Krasten Colby and a brother, James D. Kliewer.

The family requests donations may be made to The Salvation Army with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
