Fairview – The funeral for Marie Edith Voth, 78, who died Friday at McCloud Nursing Home, will be at 2 PM Monday at Midway Assembly of God. Jess Manuel and the Rev. Bob Willis will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Fairview Funeral Home.
She was born April 22, 1913, in Orienta to John and Tina Ettinger Janzen. She married Ruben John Voth on August 29, 1933, in Fairview. They owned and operated a grocery store in Fairview for seven years. They also owned and operated the Texico Service Station for three years and farmed. For several years, she worked for Hallren's Produce and quilted.
Surviving are three sons, Asa John of Longdale, Sam of Orienta and Charles of Blackwell; one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Verna) Bouse of McCloud; three brothers, William Janzen of Fairview, Wayman Janzen of Riverside, California, and Donald Janzen of Watonga; two sisters, Jo Foster and Zelpha Robison, both of Fairview; nine grandchildren; and 14 great – grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, twin sons, one brother and one sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division.
