Fairview Cemetery


July 27, 1925 - September 20, 2019

Gladys Louise Tumlin was born near Chester, Oklahoma, Major County on July 27,1925, to Reo Olin Holeman and Edith Viola (Swisher) Holeman and passed away on September 20,2019.

She attended Longdale School. She married Glen Eugene Seifried in 1942 at Canton, Oklahoma raising three children in the Canton and Seiling, Oklahoma areas on farmlands. She enjoyed sketching and oil painting, and painting local business signs. She married Damon M. Tumlin in 1978 and they traveled extensively in evangelistic work for several years settling in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Olin LeRoy Holeman and a sister Noma Leone Weeks. Gladys is survived by her son; Ronald Ray Seifried and his wife Carolyn of Ringwood, Oklahoma, daughter; Glenna Louise (Seifried) Jones of Midwest City, Oklahoma, son; Larry Eugene Seifried of Houston, Texas , one sister; Eva Shirloy Sexton and husband James Sexton of Dexter, Kansas; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Oklahoma on September 26, 2019 at 2pm.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25 from 9am – 8pm. The family wishes to thank Crossroads Hospice of Oklahoma City for their assistance the past several months.

Wilma Louise Tanner, 88 of Lebanon Oregon formally of Fairview died Feb 5, 2014. There will be no services for Wilma at this time but she will be buried in the Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
