Funeral Services for Richard Joe Robinson, 61, of Fairview, will be 10:30am, July 5, 2017 at the Fairview First Nazarene Church with Pastor Ricky Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home Inc..
Richard was born June 19, 1956 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Richard Hall and Alma Jenice (Norton) Robinson and passed away June 29, 2017 on the job in Odessa, Texas. Rick was raised in the Aline-Cleo communities and graduated from Waynoka High School with the Class of 1975. He spent many hours helping his dad with the farm and ranch chores and was a good hand at breaking horses. Following high school Rick went to work in the oil patch as a truck driver, supervisor and general jack of all trades. In 1978 he married Cindy Adair in Watonga, Oklahoma and in 1989 the couple was blessed with a son, Jeramiah. Rick started Iron Man oilfield company in January of 2008 and operated it north of Fairview for several years. He was a man who loved his family and worked hard but also liked to play hard. He enjoyed riding bulls and driving his race car #31. He was a Member of the Fairview Church of the Nazarene.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, T.J. Trammel and grandson Oakleigh
Rick is survived by his son Jeramiah and wife Timmarie Robinson, two brothers; Randy Robinson and Ray Robinson, three sisters; Nan Reihm, Bobbie Bergman and JoVanna Robinson, and four grandchildren.
Visitation for Richard "Rick" Robinson will only be July 4 from 6 to 8 pm.
