Chandra Leigh Hicks-Robertson
October 18, 1968 - December 1, 2023

Chandra Leigh Hicks, the daughter of Benny Ray and Patricia Loyce (Shaw) Hicks, and baby sister of Kenny and Kerry, was born October 18, 1968, in Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma. With family and friends by her side, Chandra left this world on December 1, 2023.

Chandra spent her childhood and high school years in the Fairview, Oklahoma area. After graduating from Fairview High School in 1987, she earned her certification as a Surgical Technologist at Tulsa Technology Center in May of 1988. For over 35 years, Chandra worked as a Certified Surgical Technologist and was a Certified Surgical First Assistant and a Surgical Technology Instructor in the Tulsa area.

A loving and devoted mother, Chandra's pride and joy were her children Tori and Tanner. When her grandsons, Asher and Kade, came along she took great delight in her role as Gigi and never hesitated to spend time with them and spoil them when she got the chance. Her home was just across the street from the elementary school where she enjoyed watching Asher on the playground during recess. Asher and Kade had fun taking selfies with their Gigi, and when they were not together, they loved to FaceTime with her.

Making friends wherever she went, Chandra had a natural kindness, great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. When you had the chance to hang out with her you always felt like the most important person in her life. She inspired us all to be kind and to remember that “kind people are my kinda people”.

Chandra is survived by her daughter, Victoria (Jon) Pierce; her son, Tanner Robertson; her mother, Patricia (Shaw) Hicks; and her grandsons, Asher and Kade Pierce. Also surviving her is her paternal aunt, Marilyn Jane (Kenny) Steidley, maternal aunt, Reba Shaw, and numerous cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, and brothers, Kenneth Wayne and Kerry Ray.

The funeral service will be held at Park Hill Baptist Church, 22432 S Hwy 82, Park Hill, Oklahoma, on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 2:00pm. Graveside service and burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Oklahoma, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 2:00pm. Arrangements provided by Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.reedculver.com for the Robertson family.
