JoAnn (King) Otwell was born October 8, 1943 in Morrilton, Arkansas to J. W. and Eula Mae (Ethridge) King and passed away November 29, 2014 at the Fairview Fellowship Home.

Her father worked doing road construction and the family lived all over and attended various schools while the children were growing up. JoAnn married Russell Otwell on September 19, 1961, making their home in Enid, Oklahoma. In 1962 they were blessed with the birth of Billy, the first of their three sons. Terry was born in 1963 and then Larry in 1966. They lived in Enid for sixteen years and then moved to Fairview. JoAnn worked as a cook in the kitchen of the Fairview Fellowship Home for over 20 years. She loved to use her singing talent for the Lord and entertained the residents of the Fellowship Home. JoAnn was asked to sing for many funerals throughout the years. She was a compassionate and thoughtful woman who truly loved others. JoAnn was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Russell of the home, sons; Terry Otwell of Fairview, OK, and Larry and wife Carlena Freelove-Otwell of Enid, OK, two sisters; Sue and husband Mike Wade of Waxahachie, TX and Shirley King of Fairview, OK, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, one son Billy Otwell and a brother, J.W. King Jr.
