Fairview – Funeral service for Joseph Dawson Houk, 89, who died Sunday evening in a Fairview hospital, was at 2 PM today in the Central Christian Church with the Rev. J. Noble Atkins of First United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery with arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, Joe C. Houk, Fairview, and Doctor Paul C. Houk, Oklahoma City; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald L. (Eleanor) Wesner, Cordel; nine grandchildren, and one great – grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one brother and his wife Eleanor who died in 1976.
