April 27, 1944 - September 8, 2021Graveside services for Linda Sue Bullock, 77, of Perryton, Texas formerly of Fairview, will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Viewing will be Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
Linda Sue (Lee) Bullock, 77, of Perryton, Texas, was born on April 27, 1944 to John (Arkie) and Wanda (Chambers) Lee in Freeport, Texas. She passed away on September 8, 2021, at Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton.
Linda attended school in Perryton, where she met and married Tommy Osborn in May of 1961. She and Tommy were blessed with three daughters Tracey, Tina and Tammy.
She moved to Fairview, Oklahoma in the early 70’s where she attended Enid Beauty College. She worked at the Fairview Fellowship Home while putting herself through beauty college. She began her career as a hair dresser and worked in several salons. Her most favorite salon being Linda’s Klassic Klippers, where she made longtime friends with her clients.
She married Lynn Bullock and during their years together they were members of the Fairview Wranglers. Linda served on the Queen and Princess Committee and spent countless hours preparing for the rodeo each year. She enjoyed bowling on a league with her friends and loved going to bowling tournaments.
She was a member of the Fairview Ambucs and the Big Hat club where she held various offices. She was especially good at being Sergeant at Arms where her wit and humor were on display.
Linda worked at the Fairview Funeral Home for many years with her close friends Chuck and Betty Obermiller.
She moved to Perryton, Texas in 2018 after having some health issues. In Linda’s later years she enjoyed playing with her great-grandchildren and FaceTiming with Tilly and Sterling.
Everyone enjoyed her sass and spunky nature. Throughout her life Linda took in many children as her own. Everyone has a fondness when it came to Linda. Her kind and compassionate heart for people will surely be missed.
Linda is survived by her three daughters, Tracey and husband Gary Bowers of Fairview, Tina Osborn and Colleen Nuszkiewicz of Perryton, Texas, Tammy Moore of Fairview, one step-son Jeff and wife Liz Bullock of Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren, Courtney Smith, KayCee and husband Jayson Bartel, Kelsey and husband Chad Johnson, Eli and wife Melissa Kennedy, Brandon Bowers, Erin and husband Trey Williams, Nick and Natalia Bullock; great-grandchildren, Brogen and wife Megan Bartel, Tate Atteberry, Tilly Bartel, Jett, Tinley and Graham Johnson, Titan and Tyson Kennedy, Bri, Madison and Audrey Adair, Jacob, Oakley and Aleister Bullock; one great-great granddaughter, Sterling Bartel; two half sisters, Angela and husband Wade Gathers and Kim Lee; sister-in-law Cherol Washburn and one brother-in-law Bobby and wife Elle Counseller.
She was preceded in death by her father John Selmar (Arkie) Lee, her mother Wanda and step-father Mike Holman; her grandparents and mother-in-law Doris Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Medical Center League House with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. acting as custodians of the fund.
