Yukon – Walter Arthur Bartz, 80, of Mustang, died Saturday at an Oklahoma City hospital. The funeral will be at 10 AM Tuesday at Yanda Funeral Home Chapel in Yukon with the Rev. Allen Fox officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 PM Tuesday in the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview with Larry Miller officiating.

Born December 20, 1906, in Holland, Texas, he was a retired building contractor, civil servant and farmer. He also was active in church. On June 7, 1930, he married Ruth Ann Duke in Odom, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two sons, Arthur Gene of Garland, Texas, and Robert Lee of Waco, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Wayne (Beverly Ann) Morawski of Mustang; five sisters, Lizzie Warnecke of Sinton, Texas, Ida Jones and Emma Duge, both of Corpus Christi, Texas, Olga Box of Taft, Texas, and Frieda Long of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Adolph Bartz of Nixon, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
