Services Sunday For Ames Soldier

Reburial services for First Lieutenant Omar Keith Bergdall, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Bergdall, Ames, will be held in the high school auditorium at Ames Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. I. L. Neunswadder, Lawrence, Kansas, and Rev. R. K. Duncan, Ames, in charge.

The body arrived in Enid Wednesday and will lie in state at the Henninger – Allen funeral home until Sunday morning.

Bergdall, a graduate of Ames high school, was killed on V-E Day, May 8, 1945. He served with General Patton's Third Army. He was graduated from Oklahoma University in 1943, after which he joined the Army at Fort Sill.
