Graveside services for Hossein Samari Khaladj, 78, of Enid, will be 2:30 PM, Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Cleo Springs Cemetery. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
On November 17, 2022, Hossein Samari Khaladj passed from this life at the age of 78. Hossein was born on December 8, 1943 in Iran to Abulfazl and Zahrah Khaladj. He grew up in a loving home with his parents and brothers and sisters. He had a competitive spirit and was a successful wrestler growing up. He moved to the US during the 1970s and earned a Master's degree from Phillips University in Enid.
Hossein met Edith Lynette (Harms) Khaladj in Enid, and they were married on December 11, 1979. Hossein enjoyed working on cars and playing mind challenging games like chess. Hossein and Lynette happily worked together running a shop in Enid for many years.
Hossein and Lynette had one child, their daughter Carrie, who they were so proud to watch grow up. Carrie gave them a granddaughter, Madison, in 2015, who always put a big smile on their faces.
Hossein was preceded in death by his parents Abulfazl and Zahrah, and his wife Lynette. He is survived by his daughter Carrie Gregory and her husband John, and granddaughter Madison Gregory.
