May 21, 1948 - September 30, 2023
Harvey Lee Foster was born in Enid on May 21, 1948, to parents, Charles Robert Foster and Dorthy Foster. He passed from this life on September 30, 2023, in Enid. Harvey had always lived in Ringwood. After Harvey and Patricia Dobbs were married, they continued to live in Ringwood.
Harvey was a heavy equipment operator in the oil field and on road construction. Even though he could fix anything, Harvey specialized in lawn mowers. He was a daily coffee drinker at the Jiffy Trip. He loved and watched many westerns with his favorite show being Gunsmoke.
Those who have preceded him in death are his wife, Patricia Foster; his parents, "Bob" and Dorthy Foster; his brother, Bobby Joe Foster; sisters, Joan Maxine Jones and Zola Pearl Vanbuskirk; one niece, Kathy Moore.
Survivors include sisters, Barbara Moore, Sharon Free, Debi Foster and Wanda Failes; brother, Jack Foster; children, Michael Foster and Lisa Foster; grandchildren, Tristen Ninness, Dodge Ninness, Breanne Stroud; great-grandchildren, Holdan Harlan and Makenna Triton.
There will be a graveside service for Harvey on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Cleo Springs Cemetery with Pastor James Wall officiating. Memorials may be made to Ringwood Fire Department and given to the funeral home.
