Loretta Kay Kluckner
November 5, 1952 - August 17, 2023

Loretta Kay Klucker was born on November 5, 1952 at Watonga, Oklahoma the second of six children to Alfred and Velma (Maske) Wilder. She passed away on August 17, 2023 at her rural home near Chester, Oklahoma.

Kay attended school in Fay and graduated from Thomas High School. One year in basketball she scored 1,000 points. She married Alva Kluckner, Jr. on March 1, 1985. Kay raised five kids and took care of her loving husband until the end. On March 7, 2011 she was given an extended life when she received a liver transplant. Her main job was being the best mom to her kids, Kelley, Carrie, Brenda, Dusty and Gary. She was also the best wife to Alva. She was a loving mother to her fur babies Welfare, Duke and Jack Jack. Kay loved to crochet and travel. She was a Sooner fan true and true and also loved her OKC Thunder. In her later years she admired the simple things, like feeding the squirrels and watching the wildlife in her backyard off the deck. She was loved by so many people and will be missed terribly.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents Velma and Alfred; infant son J.J.; sisters Terry and Judy and brother Rusty. She is survived by her husband Alva Kluckner of the home; daughters Kelley Elwell and husband Tim of Chester, Oklahoma, Carrie Stephens and husband Thomas of Carnegie, Oklahoma and Brenda Kluckner of Clinton, Oklahoma; sons Dusty Barker of Florida and Gary Kluckner and wife Becky of Custer City, Oklahoma; grandchildren Stetson, Netta, Newley, Baylee, Michelle, Jalon, Breannah, Justin, Tristan, Raelynn, Brandon, Alex, Nikki, Audrey and Addison; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 21, 2023 at Bethel Cemetery west of Fairview with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating. The family will be present from 4 - 6 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Integris Health Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 15, Fairview, OK 73737.
