Graveside service for Kenneth Mason, 97 of Paris, Texas will be Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Ames Cemetery, Ames, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, Enid.
Kenneth was born in Major County, Oklahoma on April 8, 1926, the eldest child of Harley and Ardell Wysong Mason and passed away on December 8, 2023 in Paris, Texas with his family by his side.
He married Vada Louise Kitterman at Beaver, Oklahoma on March 27, 1948. Kenneth was employed by the power company in Liberal, Kansas for forty years, retiring in 1988. He professed the Baptist faith and attended a Baptist Church in Liberal for years, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, bus driver and a song leader.
Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing, traveling, dancing and spending several winters years with his wife in the Rio Grande Valley at McAllen, Texas, enjoying the weather and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Linda Louise; brothers, Daryl, Willis, and Chip.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Vada; daughters, Debra Little and Esther Mason and husband, Carl Davis; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Mason, Betty Matthews, Harlene Johnson and Mary Woodward; former son-in-law, Bob Little; other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to On Call Hospice.
