Ames Cemetery


Rites for Ralph E. Dixon, 54, resident of Ames, were conducted Wednesday afternoon in an Ames church with the Rev. John Morgan officiating. Burial was in the Ames Cemetery with Henninger Funeral Home in charge.

Dixon died Monday night at his home three- and one-half miles northwest of Ames.

Coming to Oklahoma from Kansas with his parents in 1894 when but a young boy , Dixon later became a member of the Farmers' Union and the Woodman Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, one son William E. Dixon of Ames , one daughter Mrs. H. E. Weatherman of Kansas City, one brother, Leo Dixon of Ames, and one sister, Mrs. G. H. Kitchens of Ames.

He leaves three grandchildren.
