July 9, 1933 - July 24, 2020

Celebration of Life service for Fayetta (Randolph) Denning, age 87, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, will be July 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Ames Cemetery, Ames, Oklahoma.

Fayetta was born on July 9, 1933, in Ames, Oklahoma, to Raymond and Blanche (McNickle) Randolph and was taken to heaven on July 24, 2020, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

She was raised on the family farm and, after graduating from Ames High School, married the love of her life, Edsel Ray Denning, on November 28, 1953. They started their family in Enid, Oklahoma, and subsequently moved with their two young children, Tim and Kathy, to Wichita, Kansas, to seek new adventure. Fay thoroughly enjoyed her career as a Sears Sales representative, as well as in various banking positions. She loved her Lord and Savior and was very active in the church. In later years, they moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma, and were happily married for 66 years.

Fay is survived by her husband; son, Tim (Liz) Denning of Wichita, Kansas; daughter, Kathy (Scott) Wagner of Ardmore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brian Denning, Jason (Melanie) Denning, Jerad (Kelsie) Wagner, Caleb (Alissa) Wagner; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Loyd and Johnnie Randolph; sister, Hazel Kampschroder.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Nellie Rose McCreary and Helen M. Price; great-grandchild, Nadia Denning.
