MRS. CRAWFORD DIES SUDDENLY NEAR AMES

Mrs. T. J. Crawford died suddenly at the family home near Ames last Thursday. Her lifeless body was found on the porch of her home by other members of the family in the afternoon. She had been to Ames earlier in the day and appeared in her usual health. Her death is attributed to a heart attack.

She had resided in the vicinity of Ames since the opening of the Cherokee strip in 1893 . Three sons Earl , Raymond and Lester and one daughter, Mrs. Oliver Lee, all residents of the community survive her.
