He was married to Nettie E Nelson about 1916 and to this union was born 2 children: Iver Raymond Crawford and Dwight L. Crawford.

Services for Nettie Crawford were held July 2, 1995 under the direction of Henninger- Allen Funeral Home. Burial was in the Ames Cemetery.
Nettie Ethel Nelson was born December 15, 1896 to Gus and Susie Nelson and passed away June 30, 1995.
She married Raymond Book Crawford on September 20, 1916 in Garfield Co. Oklahoma.
They farmed and raised three sons near Ames.
She was a member of her church, Extension Club, War Mother's, and the Rebekah Lodge.
Her hobbies included crocheting and quilting.
Attractive physically, Nettie's true beauty is best described by the scripture that says, "Be ye beautiful inside, in your heart, with the lasting charm of a gentle , quiet spirit which is so precious to God."
She is survived by their three sons, Iver , Eugene and Dwight Crawford; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond on October 20, 1971,

Nettie Crawford was born December 15 Southwest of Ames. Married to the late Raymond Crawford, they farmed and raised three sons near Ames. She has a grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great – great – grandson.
Nettie's activities have included church, extension club, war mothers, Rebekah Lodge, crocheting, and quilting. She is highly respected at East View – everyone who knows her, dearly loves her. She enjoys bingo, visitors, senior citizens groups, and keeping up with world events. Her friends enjoy her stories that illustrate her keen memory for dates and past events. Nettie is this year's Ms. East View Nursing Center.
Attractive physically, Nettie's true beauty is best described by the Scripture that says "Be beautiful inside, in your heart, with the lasting charm of a gentle, quiet spirit which is so precious to God." A source of wisdom and a proud example for her family to follow… Nettie will be loved for many years to come.
