Ames Cemetery


Funeral services for John William Broomfield, 82, will be Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Faith Center Fellowship in Meno with Pastor Cody Anderson and Pastor Dan Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Ames Cemetery east and north of Ames with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Helena.

John William Broomfield was born on March 24, 1923 five miles south of Ringwood to John David and Mae Longwell Broomfield. On February 8, 1947 he married Nora Thomason in Wellington, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

John is survived by his wife, Nora, 3 sons, 2 daughters, twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
