The funeral service for Donna Fay Bingham, 78 year-old Ames resident, is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, Your Family Church in Enid, Pastor Rick Dominic officiating.
Burial follows in Ames Cemetery. Visitation with family is 5-7:00 p.m. this evening, September 21, 2018, in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.
Donna was born January 16, 1940, in Enid, to Robert and Helen (Neilson) Hollen, and died Tuesday, September 18, 2018, in her home surrounded by her family. As a preacher's daughter, she went to many schools as a child but graduated from Ames.
August 10, 1957, she married Bill Bingham. The couple made their first home in Los Angeles, CA.
The couple returned to the farm in Ames in 1961. Donna was a homemaker, raising five children and helping Bill on the farm. Later in life , she worked with the Hardiman Roofing Company.
She loved animals, gardening, sewing, crochet, and all arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home; son, William Bingham and wife, Pam of Crosby, TX; daughter, Debbie Delgado of Enid; son, Ronnie Bingham of Enid; daughter, Sheila Trotter and husband David of Ames; son, David Bingham of Enid; son, Kevin Bingham of Oklahoma City; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Joan Miles of Middleton, CA, and Bobbie Ballard of Enid.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Glen; an infant brother; and two great-granddaughters.
