Graveside services for Mildred Ruth Hodges were conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Simon Cemetery with Bro. Larry Hinton as the officiating minister.

Born December 20, 1907 at Tucumcari, New Mexico, Mrs. Hodges died Sunday, July 25, 1993, at the Love County Health Center in Marietta. She was the daughter of Henry and Mattie Musser Horn.

Mrs. Hodges had lived most of her life in Marietta before moving to Pauls Valley earlier this year. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Her husband, Joel Hodges, preceded her in death on April 17, 1977.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Billie Horn of Pauls Valley; a niece, Mildred Norton of Narco, California; and a nephew, Sonny Horn of Marietta.

Services were under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home.
