orn as a twin on March 8, 1928 at Rubottom, the son of Jesse Frank and
Vena Lowe Williams, he died Thursday, January 22, 2015 after a short
stay at Texas Health Presbyterian, Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth in 2014; son, Ricky Williams;
a daughter, Sue Williams; grandsons, Forest Willis and Paul Ritchie; a
great-granddaughter, Kathleen Arendt; his parents and six siblings.
Survivors include his children, Keith and Sharon Williams of
Gainesville, Gary and Patty Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, Bryan and
Jamie Williams of Decatur, Texas, Johnny and Susie Williams of
Gainesville, and Kenny and Shirley Laux, Frank and Linda Westbury, Stan
and Sharlene Willis and Terry “Bubba” and Cindy Willis, all of
Gainesville; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five
great-great-grandchildren and a twin sister, Geraldine Bone.
Serving as pallbearers were grandsons. Honorary bearer was Joe Newsome.
