Richard Dale Dewbre was born October 10, 1954, to Audrey Marie (Grant) and Charlie McCrory Dewbre in Wilson. He passed from this life on October 19, 2023, at the age of 69.
 
Richard attended most of his school years at Maricopa High School in California, then he and his family moved back to Oklahoma where he graduated from Lone Grove High School with the class of 1973. 
 
Richard loved to be outdoors. He loved riding horses, working cows, and watching his grandkids play. He enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family where his stories never ended and he was always filled with laughter. Richard worked in the oil field in Oklahoma and Texas for the past 50 years.
 
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie "Mack" and Audrey "Marie" Dewbre.
 
He is survived by his daughter, Rachael Womack and husband Cody; sons, Shaun Dewbre and wife Felicia Hendon, Bobby Dewbre and wife Lori, and Eddie Dewbre and wife Courtney; grandchildren, Devin Dewbre, Zak Dewbre, Shiloh Womack, Shelby Womack, Jud Womack, Jake Womack, Kael Rapier, Jhett Shebester, Emma Clayton, and Colleen Dewbre; great-grandsons, Everett Womack and Connor O'Connell; brothers, Jerry Dewbre and wife Terri, Ken Dewbre, and Tim Dewbre and wife Lynn; sister, Patricia Rister; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
 
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 26 at the Rubottom Baptist Church. Interment followed at the Rubottom Cemetery.
