Mrs. Adams was born September 6, 1911, at Jacksboro, Texas, and died January 26, 1999, in the Seminole Estates Nursing Center at the age of 87. She was the daughter of Edward Lafayette and Sara Jane Carlisle Qualls.
Mrs. Adams moved to Ada in 1985, after living in Gainesville, Texas, since 1978. She married her first husband, Alex Auld, on August 24, 1927, and he preceded her in death in 1974.
She married her second husband, Robert Adams, on July 27, 1963, in Tarrant County, Texas, and he preceded her in death in 1977.
Mrs. Adams was a nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Ada.
She is survived by five grandsons, Mike Auld, Steve Auld and Mark Auld of Shawnee, Dale Auld of Seminole, and Dennis Auld of Oklahoma City; a granddaughter, Donna McEndree of Lubbock, Texas; 17 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Adams was also preceded in death by two sons, Donald Lee Auld in 1983 and George Alton Auld in September 1988; two brothers and four sisters
Arrangements are being directed by Kennedy Funeral Home.
