Services for Syble Truecillah Williams, 92, of Brushy Mound, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 7, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Williams officiating.
Mrs. Williams was born September 12, 1911, at Orr, the daughter of James Monroe and Ockra Jane Eddington Patty. She died Wednesday, November 5, 2003, at Ringling.
Born and raised at Orr, Truecillah was a lifelong member of the Orr/Brushy Mound community. She and Earl Williams were married July 3, 1932, at Brushy Mound, where they also lived, worked and raised their family. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2000. Mrs. Williams was a lifelong member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Don Barber of Oklahoma City; a son and daughter-in-law, Cecil and Peggy Williams of Brushy Mound; a brother, Woodrow Patty of Norman; three grandchildren and nine great-grand-children.
Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by a son, Don Williams, on April 23, 1975; and brothers, Lee, Jessie, Marvel, George, Berry and Elmas.
Pallbearers were Danny Flatt, W.A. Aulds, Rocky Patty, Noah Patty, Mike Williams and Bobby Williams.
Interment was in the Crow Cemetery, under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson.
