Services for Billy Wayne Toles, 53, of San Antonio, Texas, were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 28, at the Nazarene Baptist Church, Burneyville, with the Rev. Eugene Bellard officiating.
Mr. Toles was born January 22, 1951, in Burneyville, the son of Elmo and Clotilde Toles. He died Friday, September 17, 2004, at his home in San Antonio.
He was raised in Burneyville and later moved to San Antonio after his service with the military. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Toles attended school in Burneyville and graduated from Turner High School. He and Linda Mills were married in San Antonio. Mr. Toles was a plumber and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Toles of the home; a daughter, Trenishia LaTrice Toles; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmo and Ella Toles of Burneyville, Elmer Gene and Willie Ruth Toles of Lawton, and Frank E. and Silke Toles of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two sisters and brother-in-law, Vergie and Vernell Stoughtenborough Toles and Margaret Smith Moore, all of Ardmore; and a host of nieces, nephews, classmates and friends.
Pallbearers were Thom Thompson and his nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be friends.
Interment was in Dunbar Cemetery, Burneyville, under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home, Ada.
