Graveside services for Agnes Zula "Zue" Tibbets, 93, of Wilson, will be held at
2 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Oswalt Cemetery, Love County, with Roy Hannah
officiating.
Mrs. Tibbets was born December 13, 1907, at Oswalt, the daughter of Reubin and
Sarah Louise (Clutts) Knight. She died February 26, 2001 in Ardmore.
She was raised at Oswalt and attended school at Boardtree. She and Robert
Murray "Bob" Tibbets were married November 20, 1931, in Waurika and they left
the area in 1932. They resided in New Mexico, Arizona, California, Utah and
Colorado due to his working in construction. He preceded her in death on March
19, 1965 and Mrs. Tibbets returned to Wilson in 1966 from Cedaredge, Colorado.
Survivors include a sister, Clarice Herrin of Hickman, California.
Mrs. Tibbets was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Rugh,
Sarah Ellen and Mabel; and three brothers, Jim, Bordon and Scottie Knight.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Roberts and nephews, Charles Alexander, Ron
Alexander, Tommy Hays and Dr. Ron Alexander II.
Services will be under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson.
