No services are scheduled for Edward Henry Schiefelbein, 77, of Falconhead.

Mr. Schiefelbein was born March 6, 1925, in Chicago, the son of Edward and Anna Cappetta Schiefelbein. He died Thursday, January 16, 2003, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.

A resident of Falconhead for the past 10 years, Mr. Schiefelbein moved there from Evergreen Park, Illinois. He and Ethel Mae Newman were married May 10, 1986, in Maywood, Illinois. Mr. Schiefelbein was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired as a Lieutenant for the Evergreen Park Police Department in the early 1980s. Mr. Schiefelbein was also a Shriner and a Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Schiefelbein of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Ramona Schiefelbein of College Grove, Tennessee, and Edward and Stephanie Schiefelbein of Seaside, California; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Czaplecki of Evergreen Park; and two grand- children, Alicia Moonan and Scott Czaplecik.

Mr. Schiefelbein was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements were under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
