Memorial services for Ronald Neil Robnett Sr., 59, of Wilson, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 9, in the Assembly of God Church in Wilson, with the Rev. Mark Gunnels officiating.
Mr. Robnett was born March 24, 1942, in Fort Cobb, the son of Roland N. and Esther Jones Robnett. He died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at his residence south of Wilson.
Raised at Fort Cobb, Mr. Robnett graduated from Fort Cobb High School in 1960. In 1969 he moved to Wilson and was employed by Uniroyal Tire Corp. for 27 years. He was a member of the Hewitt Masonic Lodge #89.
Survivors include two sons, Neil and wife Shannon Robnett of Burneyville, and Kelly Robnett and Julie Ward of Stratford; his mother, Esther Robnett of Mustang; a brother, Joe Robnett of Jimtown; two sisters, Shirley Dorsey of Fort Cobb and Gayle Horlivy of Yukon; six grandchildren, Lareme Robnett of Enville, Lauren and Bailey Robnett of Burneyville, Emily, Amanda and Becky Robnett of Ada and Shayleen Ward of Stratford; and special friends and neighbors, David, Daniel and Kellie Hull of Wilson.
Mr. Robnett was preceded in death by his father, R.N. Robnett, in November 1992.
Services were under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson.
