Services for Leonard Reynolds, 80, of Rubottom were held at 3 p.m., Friday, January 25, at Rubottom Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Hawkins and Rev. Jack Pryor officiating.
Mr. Reynolds was born February 27, 1921, at Grady, the son of Lee and Eula Davidson Reynolds. He died Wednesday, January 23, 2002, in the Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
A resident of the Courtney and Rubottom area most of his life, Mr. Reynolds was a farmer and rancher. He and Wilma Parson were married June 27, 1941, at Orr. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Ringling.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Wilma of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Arnold and Mavis Reynolds of Ardmore; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lyndia and Jim McCall of Arlington, Texas, and Janice and Mike Wisdom of Dallas; four brothers; four sisters; six grandchildren, Brian Reynolds, Michelle Brown, Wayne Hovend, Wendy Kirkland, Gary Burns and Shawn Murrah; nine great-grandchildren; and friends of the family, Tommy, Trina, Weldon and James Lee of Rubottom.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Serving as pallbearers were grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Brian Reynolds, Lance Brown, Wayne Hovend, Dennis Kirkland, Gary Burns and Randall Murrah.
Honorary pallbearers were R.B. Romines, Leroy Romines, Houston Love, Tommy Lee and Lawrence Black.
Interment was in the Rubottom Cemetery under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
