Services for Jean Rosenhamer were Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ardmore, conducted by Father John P. Vrana. A Bible Vigil Service was Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Chapel, Ardmore.
Daughter of the late Hugo and Lena Dome Reidel, Mrs. Rosenhamer was born January 1, 1925, at Hoisington, Kansas. After she graduated from Catholic Highschool in Wichita, Kansas, she became an employee of Beechcraft Aircraft Company in their blueprint department.
She married Paul Rosenhamer June 9, 1947, in Wichita, and they moved to Oklahoma City. A devoted homemaker and mother, she was very active in St. Charles Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. She received the parish's "Woman of the Year" award from the Women's Club.
Mrs. Rosenhamer was secretary for her husband's Allstate Insurance Agency in Oklahoma City. After his retirement they moved to Falconhead in 1985 and became members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ardmore.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Rosenhamer of the home at Falconhead; two sons, Gary Rosenhamer of Edmond and John Rosenhamer of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Linda Paul of Gibsonville, North Carolina, and Angie Dawson of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Laverne Riedel of Wichita and James Riedel of Fresno, California; a sister, Maxine Mainzer of Wichita; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Interment services were in Resurrection Cemetery, Oklahoma City, at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday conducted by Father Paul Galatin. Bearers were Steve Rosenhamer, Robert Rosenhamer, J. Dustin Rosenhamer, Dillon Rosenhamer, Joe Rosenhamer and Jeff Lowe.
Memorials may be made to the memorial fund of St. Mary's Catholic Church or Cross Timbers Hospice.
Services were directed by Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
