Services for Luroy Paul Patrick were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Baggerley-Primrose Memorial Chapel, Oklahoma City, with the Rev. Les Banks officiating.
Mr. Patrick was born January 22, 1920, at Allen and died August 8, 1993, at his home in Edmond after a brief illness. He was the son of Samuel Christopher and Essie Jane Shipley Patrick.
Mr. Patrick attended schools in Cleveland and retired February 1, 1985, from Sinclair Refining Company after 42 years of service. He was assigned to Marietta in 1973 and lived here until a year after retirement when he moved to Edmond. A World War II Army veteran, Mr. Patrick was a beekeeper and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He married the former Onie M. Witt in 1935 in Mannford. Mr. Patrick was a member of the Witcher Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Onie “Pat” Patrick of the home in Edmond; two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and James Burck of Hurst, Texas, and Robin Withrow of Marietta; a son, Jimmie Ray Patrick of Del City; two sisters, Lilly Lesco of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Imogene Fenton of Ramona; and five grandchildren, Brandon Burck, Christy Burck, Sherilyn Patrick, Patrick Knock and Kathryn Knock.
Mr. Patrick was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Lee Patrick.
Interment was in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Baggerley-Primrose Funeral Home.
