Services for Dovie Mae Page were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Marsden Baptist Church. Officiating was Rev. Claud Williams.
Born February 8, 1905, in Texas, the daughter of Pierce and Effie Armenia Smith Sewell, Mrs. Page died February 16, 1995, in an Ardmore nursing home.
She married William David Page August 7, 1922, at Marsden, and had been a resident of this area all of her life. A homemaker, Mrs. Page was a member of the Marsden Baptist Church and served as Church Clerk for many years.
She is survived by her husband, William David Page of the home; six sons, Weldon Page of North Augusta, South Carolina, Bill Page and Kenneth Page of Ardmore, Carlos Page of Augusta, Georgia, Charles Page of Bakersfield, California, and Omar Page of Bethany; a daughter, Linda Brown of Ardmore; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Page was preceded in death by a daughter, Chloe Heiderich.
Interment was in McAlister Cemetery, Overbrook, under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home, Ardmore. Assisting as casket bearers were Wayne Heiderich, Kent Heiderich, Jason Brown, Steve Cunningham, Dale Harris, Gale Harris and Lynn Heiderich.
