Services for Stanley Earl Neeley, 76, were Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Mr. Thomas Cunningham, Church of Christ minister, Stillwater, officiating.
Born January 28, 1916, in Sentinel, Mr. Neeley died September 7, 1992, in a Lawton hospital. He married Vanda Lee Knight on January 11, 1936, in Sentinel. A Church of Christ minister for 36 years, he began his ministry in Bulo, later preaching at Sallisaw, Yale, Crowell, Texas, Stroud, Ardmore, Marietta, and retiring at Lebanon. He was a member of the Porter Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vanda Lee Neeley of the home; a daughter, Shirley Treat of Stillwater; two sons, Stanley Neeley, Jr. of Lawton and James Neeley of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Edna Fairless of Grass Valley, California, Doris Beck of Cordell, and Billy Nikkel of Houston, Texas; a brother, Linden Neeley of Dill; nine grandchildren and five great-grandsons.
Mr. Neeley was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lola Phillips.
Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home, Inc.
