Services for Thomas Morris “Tom” McGehee were Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of Christ with Mr. Floyd Johnson and Mr. Ray Hilliard officiating.
Born January 31, 1950, in Gainesville, Texas, the son of Jack and Geneva Green McGehee, Mr. McGehee died September 9, 1993, in the Memorial Hospital of Southern Oklahoma, Ardmore, at the age of 43.
He moved back to Marietta in 1987, coming from Denver, Colorado. Mr. McGehee had worked for the Samsonite Corporation in Denver for several years and later had driven a truck for Arrow Trucking Company in Tulsa. He had also served in the military as a Military Policeman for six years. Mr. McGehee was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. and was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Geneva McGehee of the home in Marietta; a sister, Jennie McGehee of Ardmore; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Interment in Lakeview Cemetery was under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Darrel McGehee, Paul Ruth, Doug Coldwell, Ron Welsh, Steve Bell and Allen Burns.
