Graveside services for John Manning were conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Burneyville Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Don Keener, minister of the Abner Pentecostal Church.
Mr. Manning was born November 6, 1903, at Burneyville, Indian Territory, and died August 14, 1993, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta, at the age of 89. He was the son of Wade Hamilton and Annie Cunningham Manning.
A resident of Love County all of his life, Mr. Manning was a retired farmer and a member of the Abner Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his brother, Boss Manning of Marietta; three nephews and three nieces.
Services were directed by the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers were Harold Montgomery, Sonny Mobley, Pete Hambrick, Rex Harrill, Dale Hallum, and Wayne Allison.
